Bringing the
Nomads Spirit to Austin
What started as two friends from Nepal meeting for a 6AM run in Austin has grown into something we never imagined. Back home, we were part of "Nomads" - a group that believed running was about more than miles. It was about connection.
When we moved to Austin, we missed that community. So one Sunday morning, we texted a few friends: "6 AM. South Congress. Bring coffee money." Four people showed up that first day.
Now, every Sunday, we see familiar faces and new ones. We've celebrated first 5Ks, supported marathon training, and shared countless cups of coffee. Nomads ATX isn't just our run club - it's our second family.
